Project OverView

This project focus on designing and implementing a PID controller for a ball balancing system. The ball balancing system consists of 3 servo motors, joints that are connecting the motors to a plate, as well as a camera for visual feedback. The logical flow for the control of the system can be seen in second slide (Fig. 4.2).

Project OverView

This project involved fabricating a 5-row precision seeder MVP. Key technical tasks included welding, lathe machining, and parts assembly. We extensively tested firmware code, operated pumps and motors, programmed pneumatic valves, and calibrated IR and position sensors for planting depth and seeding rate control. Our team excelled in coating, lathe, mill machine operations, and pneumatic assembly, contributing to a successful project. The goal is to address Africa's food crop production challenges.
